Thanks for that. Octopus have just quoted me 4.1p/kwh so it seems to be moving quite a lot.The_Green_Hornet said:0 -

If you are on Go; Go Faster or IO then Octopus will only pay reduced SEG of 4.1p/kWh. If you want a higher SEG rate then you need to be on a standard tariff or on Flux (battery required).

Thanks, the trouble is that Octopus only show you one tariff when you're quoted and link to a couple of their niche tariffs eg for EV or heat pump owners and there's no way to say that you also a need an SEG tariff. I think I'll give them a swerve as it's taken 6 days to get a reply to an email and they sent me a link to their SEG page which returns a 404 error!Dolor said:Thanks for that. If you have your supply with Octopus and aren't on an EV tariff you can get 15p/kWh on the Fixed Outgoing tariff.
If you know a friend or relative who is with Octopus you can use their referral code and you'll each get £50 when you switch.Barnsley, South Yorkshire

You may be shooting your self in the foot. SP offers a 12p/kWh to its own on supply customers but its sign up process seems to be tortuous. Octopus will offer you 15p/kWh Fixed SEG if you have one its standard tariffs. I am on Octopus Flux that pays me these export rates:Nsar1 said:

I will probably stick with Flux until September and then switch to Octopus Go for the winter with the 4.1p/kWh SEG.1 -
