Probate progress online

I'm aware this isn't a reliable service.

We applied on 25/5/23. They eventually acknowledged receipt of the will 4 weeks later. The case is showing 'Application in review' however it states beneath " We need more information from you to progress your application. Check your email for more details."

Apart from the initial request for the will we've had no further e mails asking for anything. 

For anyone else going through this process do you have a similar message, does it ever get removed or updated? I presume it applied to sending the will but I can't recall when it appeared so I don't know. As I can't speak to them within 16 weeks I have absolutely no idea if they require anything else.

my online record remained like that until it was completed, so don’t think you can read anything into that. Just checking that you sent the death certificate?.. I found that a little ambiguous as it only says on the application form do you have a death certificate or an interim death certificate, it doesn’t actually tell you to send it!

I can't recall if it went with the will. We've actually paid off his Inheritance tax in full (six figure sum) so are well advanced in that regard.

I'm resending a certified copy just in case.
