I need to change my address after a move. Does this impact negatively on my credit rating? I have been hearing conflicting advice, anyone have any experience of this.

I have changed my address 4 times in the last 4 years and it has made no difference to mine
Make sure you alter the Electoral Roll Register, it takes a little time to be updated1 -
It will simply form part of your credit history and different credit providers will view it differently. There is a school of thought that it may temporarily impact you credit worthiness but its hard to separate the impact of the move and the impact of not being on the electoral roll at your new/current address. Unfortunately registering to vote and appearing on the roll can take a few months depending on where you've moved to and when in the year it is.1
