first save confirm glitch in signing in process

hi all
just in case anyone else has had issues with first save...
i opened a fixed bond account with them. the process they use is you transfer money in and once they receive it they say they send a welcome pack with user id on it to allow you to log into the account to monitor it .
however it seems there has been a !!!!!! up in the process as instead of a welcome pack i received an authorisation code which i shouldn't have got till later...no welcome pack so no user id so no way to log into my account.
ive just got off the phone to them and they've admitted that something has gone amiss and they have been getting lots of calls re this matter where new customers have been unable to access their accounts.
got to admit ive spent the whole weekend worrying as to whether the funds i had sent were in the account or not as they dont even send you a receipt. apparentley they are sending out new welcome packs...so should be sorted in next few days

i had a similar problem with first save
i get the welcome email with the reference to paying funds
i sent them £100 as a test but i got the welcome pack signed in and no money and then suddenly i got the £100 back in my nominated account
so i tried again this time with the correct account number hopefully this will go thru0 -
Hi, Currently going through the same problem and have been unable to get through to them on the phone after being on hold for a while. Very concerned after transferring a substantial amount to them. Just checking whether you have now received your welcome pack and ID number to log in & check the funds had been received?0

I am an existing customer of First Save and have been able to log on OK this morning with no issues. Maybe the problem relates specifically to new accounts?

all sorted now. got the welcome pack later same day with my user id...so was able to log in and actually see my account.
this does seem to have been a glitch with anyone signing up for first time with first save...basically from what i can gather the welcome packs were sent after the authorisation codes...which is the wrong way round.
