Hi everyone,
I'm sorry I've been so rubbish at posting but really you don't want to hear my about my boring life atm. I finished the antibiotics yesterday and am keeping my fingers crossed that they've done the trick while not being wholly convinced.
We had a visit this morning from two teachers from the nursery at the local school, Esben will be going there in September, he's really outgrown the nursery he goes to now and needs a bit more structure.
I need to do a bit of food shopping today, the men have been doing the shopping and we have no onions or carrots, things I always keep in, I also want to do a meal plan for the week, last week was a bit ad hoc but very nice not having to think about or cook a meal.
If you manage to read this Ruby have a great time.
Jackie, I hope your appointment goes well.
Have a good day.

Agree with children needing books. That is why we are giving them away free at our book sales (unfortunately in California).
Inner city schools always lose out. One year when I was visiting in England, sometime in the 1980s, the schools in London actually stopped teaching one grade level (I think it was year five) as they said they couldn't hire enough teachers and so were planning on not teaching anyone at that grade level that year. Parliament actually ruled that the parents couldn't sue the schools for this. I never did find out if any studies were done on the effect on these students or what the final outcome was because by then I had gone home. I may try to look it up and see what happened.7 -
Test went ok as far as I know, but difficult with the blood tests and previously when I was going through chemo after a mastectomy it completely ruined the veins in my left arm. I can’t have it done on my right arm as I have lymphodema in it and can’t have any needles or even blood pressure taken from that arm but fingers crossed two more weeks to go tomorrow and hopefully my operation will be done 🤞🤞🤞😀😀😀👍👍👍5
