Hi folks,
Does anyone happen to know if Mastercard covers accidental damage on an item? The item was purchased 35 days ago.
Thank you in advance for your help!

MasterCard itself will not cover accidental damage.
Some individual credit card companies used to offer it as an add-on, but I haven't seen that for a long-time.
It's possible that some very old accounts have retained that. I'd say finding your card still has it is extremely unlikely.1 -
In the UK the networks themselves offer almost nothing to cardholders whereas in other markets cards like Mastercard World or Visa Signature come with benefits from mastercard/visa themselves.
AmEx are one of the few that do offer AD cover on purchases for certain cards however they only provide cover if you have no other insurance in force and so for many people their Home Insurance would cover it and so the AmEx benefit only really covers things that are below the excess.0 -
In a word, No.
You are looking at home insurance if you have that level of cover.Life in the slow lane0
