Is excess on a policy per person?

We're off on holiday this summer and we have 4 people I'm looking to put onto a policy. If the excess is £150 and something happens that affects all of us - i.e. cancellation - do we pay that £150 excess for each person? Thanks.

You cannot delete posts, they stay in place so the next person can search and find the answer (rather than duplicate a question).
For the benefit of others, yes, the excess is typically per claimant. In some circumstances all travellers will claim (eg cancelled holiday) and in others only one or two (eg lost suitcase)0 -
Generally yes it is an excess charged per person, even if the charge for the item would be the same irrespective of the number of travellers. For example, due to Covid travel restrictions for the UK we were unable to travel to Greece where we had paid a deposit on accommodation. Although the cost of the accommodation was a fixed price, 2 x excess was deducted from the refund.
