Easyjet - Tried to change flight, they cut me off and now the booking has dissapeared

Options
Hi all,

I booked an Easyjet flight to Rhodes and then decided I'd like to add a couple of days and move the outward flight forward.

I had booked a full-price Flexi-Fare directly through Easyjet.com, for such an eventuality.

I tried the online chat - and got no response the two times I tried - 30 minutes both times - just hello, is anyone there?

I phoned the call centre and spent almost 30 minutes in conversation to change them (being placed frequently on hold while he 'talked with his supervisor') then got placed on hold for around 15 minutes and then ...... just cut off.

I have called back around 12 times spending upwards of FOUR HOURS on calls with different call desk assistants - they keep finding my original booking - attempting to amend it and then placing me on hold until...... you guessed it I get cut off.

I started at 1pm and it is now almost 7pm and I have still not gotten anywhere.

My original booking has disappeared from the mobile app and my online account, the seats I booked on the return flight have re-appeared as available again and the original booking reference for ALL flights (to Rhodes and back) is no longer recognised.

As I said - I booked directly through Easyjet.com, not a third party, and paid full price so I guaranteed their 'best' level of service............

What else can I do?

I got one response from their email helpdesk saying - 'your flights have been updated as requested please call us to pay the balance'

That was at 3pm - I have made multiple calls since and all get to the point where I have to pay, then they put me on hold to 'chat to a supervisor' for 10-15 minutes and......... well you already know the rest.

I am at a total loss what to do - I am down £1,000 for flights - with another six hours of call costs (mobile) and just get cut off each time I call - when Easyjet assistant finds the booking too hard to fix or resolve.

I have been very polite and helpful on every call.

Who can I turn to to get this resolved?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

J Bretel
