thanks - my mum's using one of the hotel rooms since she 'won' and she works in the city centre and has to be at work early tomorrow, and I've entered a ton of gardening comps and beauty comps for her so any wins of them will be a 'thank you' for quickly 'remembering' she'd entered this comp when they called her about it! I'll be entering the gardening comps until I win a decent prize for her

The gig was aight last night, the support acts were pretty rubbish and played way too loud - one of them you could feel the bass reverberating thru the ground and your body, but the Zutons were great although they didn't play a long set, they are really good live and worth seeing if you get a chance!
the hotel was sweet - my first hotel stay in my home city! we had a wonderful view of the liver builings and the river, and a desperately needed and yummy breakfast - I'm still horribly hungover right now, but not having to cook my own breakfast and being able to stock up on orange juice, tea, a small fry up and fresh fruit really helped take the edge off the night before.
