Item bought online had lower price ticket when delivered

I recently purchased a pair of trainers from Adidas at discounted price of £60.
When I received the shoes, one of them had a price ticket of £36. Contacted Adidas and they dont want to know about it saying that must be a warehouse error. Waiting for a Customer service manager to call me.. sometimes. Should they refund me the difference?

No, any price ticket on them is completely irrelevant to the price you pay.

...so the other one cost £24?

Your consumer rights are to receive the shoes you ordered at the price you agreed.
That seems to be the case so no refund is due.

Even displayed with a price tag in a shop there is no obligation for them to sell them to you at that price, although in that case they might possibly be committing a criminal offence under the Consumer Protection Act.

If they turned up with a higher price on the box would you have offered more?

Your consume rights is to get the item you asked for at the price you agreed.

They would probably have to go to a shop to buy at the ticket price.
Places like Sports direct & JD sport do the same. For an online order they use the stuff that has already been ticketed for the shop and those prices are invariably cheaper than the online price
