Good morning from a bright looking Darlington.

I'll soon be on my final leg home. 😀 Yesterday I had an uneventful journey along various roads, most of which had very long stretches of roadworks with average speed cameras dotted down their length. This made for fairly slow and leisurely driving without much speed madness. 

The evening was spent in lots of talking and eating chines takeaways with only a little lubrication. Whilst it's been really lovely this week I now need a long rest in my own bed.

The Snoozers seem to be picking up health wise, hope it continues.
It's been a busy week here, I had a routine dental check up yesterday morning, no nasty surprises there thank heavens. Then we'd arranged to meet a friend for lunch, which was nice.
Sorry you didn't enjoy your ready meals TA, as you say, home cooked is best. We occasionally have them in the caravan, but haven't always enjoyed them.
Unfortunately I'd forgotten to put a hairdressers' appt on the calendar, we should have been there yesterday morning, so I had to send her abject apologies, and rearrange.
Dgs was to pick up from school, and was here for tea. We made a couple of visits to our little railway station so he could watch for trains, he likes that.
Today I need to organize a few clothes for going away tomorrow in the caravan, down to N Yorks, and there's a few other jobs.I

Morning folks. Thanks GERS have a safe journey home.

Last day here I'm away home tomorrow morning. Par for the course rain is forecast in a bit. What a wet week it's been. I've just had a rummage in the fridge and there are lots of bits and pieces to eat up. Hardly worth taking home so I'll see what I can concoct with them for today's eats. 

Excitement of the day over for Sparkle. An early face up with a squirrel through the glass door. She's very brave when there's a door between them!! When we first came to this site about 14 years ago there was a lot more wildlife, rabbits, pheasants, squirrels etc, than now. I don't know why their numbers have dwindled.

Morning everyone dogs have been walked hubby was with me made it a bit less stressful on my way back the next door neighbours of the house I clean with the granddaughter staying in caught me and asked me what was going on she said the noise and the stream of people going in and out on a night is shocking she said they had asked her husband to water the plants while she was away but the granddaughter came and said not to bother she would do it but they have taken no notice of her and they have gone round and watered them she said the house is a tip I dread to think what they have to come back to I will go next week and see if I can do anything before they come back she has really taken advantage they obviously think they are doing her a favour letting her stay there saving her own gas and electric and there will have been plenty of food left in for her because I know what they are like and she has just totally abused it . Work at 12 can’t wait I feel shattered today I think I’m about due a second coffee to wake me up . It’s nice and bright out but we are due heavy showers later . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Morning all from a very fed up suffolksue 
I rang the hospital yesterday afternoon as no appointment turned up .
oh they said we won’t be able to offer you anything for at least another 8 weeks and don’t know when it will be then .
Theres strikes you know !
I asked why they’d sent me a letter saying I’d hear by now and they mumbled,that was to tell me they’d received the referral .
It doesn’t say that at all.
Seeing the physio today ,will have to think about a private appointment,but the £14k for an op would be a struggle 
perhaps a Premium Bond will win!

Morning all well its a wet one here haven't been on for a few days as DS has been away so have made the most of it by doing lots of housework and tidying as he is a night worker its hard to do it during the day and by the evening i dont feel like it i also have asked 3 handymen to come and give a quote for some work but not one has turned up so annoying.
Its DD1's 30th birthday today and she is having a party at hers on Saturday so a busy weekend again i have been trying to spring clean before we have DGS 3 days a week starting at the end of the month but i dont seem to be getting too far with it never mind today is bed change and floor mopping so will have this cuppa and get on

Didn't manage to get on yesterday as was unexpectedly in the office. Day off today (hurrah) and I'm taking DDad to Kensington Palace. There's a couture exhibition plus the Palace and gardens to explore. Unfortunately it's a bit rainy here so I need to change out of this dress and wear something more practical for walking around and staying warm.

DH will cook us an easy SW chicken curry for dinner.

Morning all

Dull and overcast here and rain due later it seems it will rain most of the weekend, it’s the Goodwood festival of speed here this weekend so the roads locally are rammed we avoid going that way for this weekend as you will sit in traffic for hours !

Day off for me today and I am off for electrolysis this morning and then straight on to have my nails done, this afternoon we will start packing 😃 

Not sure about dinner tonight I will go and look in the freezer after this. I need to run the hoover round this morning and put a wash on.

Morning all, I think it's about to start raining so I don't think I'll bother going out until I have to later. Changed my library books at the main library in town yesterday once my food had been delivered, and got lured into Primarni & bought 2 zipped hoodies, ok for popping on for dogwalking, grandchild collecting etc. when it's a bit cooler. A friend rang me while I was on the bus back, I could hear her but she couldn't hear me, she tried 3 times and sounded a bit panicked. She's been in hospital so I sent her a text saying I'd ring when I got home. She was fine and is hopefully going home next week but she has ongoing multiple health probs.

Iris ,rain forecast here too so I hope you can get out for a walk, it's not the same when it's teeming down!

We have the choice of either burgers or chicken steaks tonight, I'll see what I feel like later- the others will get what they're given seeing as I do all the cooking
