Suzuki Vitara - anyone got one?

I'll be looking to replace our car sometime over the rest of the year. It'll have to be an SUV-style for the higher seating position.
Current car is a 2015 C4 Picasso, which is probably the most competent all-rounder in its class - roomy, very bright, comfy, economical, nice interior - it ticks pretty much all the boxes, but isn't very 'interesting'.
The Vitara looks good to my eyes - I especially like the chunky front. It's also good value, but therein may lie its drawback? Reviews say it's also cheaply built. Light tinny doors? Not the best sound-proofing? A bit basic?
Any of that true?! Considering a 2019 model onwards.
Thoughts? Ta.

I had a Suzuki Vitara in 2016 from new. It was a nice car to drive and very comfortable. Not much has changed in that time, apart from the different engines now.I found the interior to be rather boring and quite basic, hard plastic dashboard, nothing to brag about. Doors sounded rather tinny when you shut them.It did have a decent sized boot with decent leg room in the back though. The was no centre arm rest when i had mine and felt it needed it but i do believe they have them now.I wouldn't personally have another.1
