New private plate not recognised

I recently added a private plate to my car last Friday. It shows up both on the Gov TAX check and MOT history check sites as well has AskMID. I have also received back my new V5c this week too.
The problem is my new plate is not recognised by the likes of Blackcircles, Kwik Fit tyre checker, and even WBAC, etc. Although the old original plate still works on these sites.
Anyone know why my new private plate is not being recognised and how long it will take before it is?
(I'm trying to order new tyres on Blackcircles which is how I found out about this problem.)

Well, obviously just use the original reg no to order from Blackcircles. Everything to do with government departments is taking an age ATM. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a month or so before third party commercial organisations get an updated database.
I'm hopeful that third party commercial organisations don't have direct access into the main DVLA live systems ...I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.2 -
I doubt if it's anything to do with current delays in the system. These commercial organisations don't get real-time or even daily updates. It's a long time since I had any involvement, but I'd guess it's still done monthly.
That means that about 1.0 to 1.5% of records will be out of date at any given time. Or if your glass is half-full, the database will be 98.5 to 99.0% accurate, which is pretty good in the real world.0 -
It takes time for commercial systems to update. If you have to book something right NOW - then use the original plate.

Last year Askmid did not update my insurance for 11 days.
As for tyres and parts, they will get an update if they pay for one.
Every 6 months from memory.1 -
It's 2023 and I thought maybe third party organisations would have access to an API or something to be able to access simple live data.
Yes I can use old reg to order tyres or simply manually input the tyre sizes, but this was more of an observation.0 -
It’s 2023 - the DVLA provides a full suite of RESTful APIs, the motor trade is mostly, however, still in the 1990’s…0

These organisations are using an out of date system. They will update it eventually.0
