You could make the case for a chargeback given how misleading the website is. Make sure you have screenshots.
It's something called the Red Hand Rule. If it says you can cancel but there is something that contradicts that in the T&C's, it better be highlighted with a big red hand pointing it out. Can't sneak stuff like that in and expect it to stand up in court.
Unfortunately you will need to make an official complaint to OTB and get their response in writing before you can go to your bank. Contact them for advice.
OTB will want to cancel everything so not a very appealing option.0 -
Something similar to this came up before on here and I can't remember the exact details of it.
My assumption was that if you book a package then you would have to cancel the whole package and then receive the hotel portion back but you may well lose your flights. It seems the OP wants to just cancel the hotel portion and keep the flights and I'm not sure if that's allowed. Would that potentially be the issue here?
I should say I'm speculating on this though - it's not based on detailed knowledge of the rules0 -
I was thinking the same lines, the list of fees and charges list making changes to an element or cancelling the whole 'booking' but nothing listed for cancelling only part of a package.tightauldgit said:Something similar to this came up before on here and I can't remember the exact details of it.

If that is the case then when cancelling the booking, the hotel element would not have any fees applied to it but I suspect the flights cost would be lost.0
