Attendance allowance questions

My elderly mother who lives alone is concerned over what is written in an Attendance Allowance form might mean social services are called. She doesn't list anyone helping and caring for her. She does however visit doctors on a regular occasion and we family keep in contact. She is applying as the money would be useful to pay for some occasional help when needed on her terms.
For instance, due to old age she sometimes forgets to take important medication, she mentions this within the forms, but now she is suddenly concerned because she doesn't list anyone as helping and that because she forgets sometimes to take her meds that this will mean she will end up in the care of social services or something. She is very independent so doesn't want to suddenly be added to some kind of social services check list.
Would this likely happen ? Thanks.

No, nothing to worry about.
The threshold of getting social services involved is actually very high.
Forgetting to take meds from time to time won't be any kind of factor.

agree with previous poster, the threshold for adult social services is high and what she has put on the form wouldn’t warrant a referral. Referrals can also only be made with consent of the adult unless they lack capacity.I work in the benefits field and it’s hard enough trying to make necessary referrals into social care, from what you’ve said there wouldn’t be grounds to do so and it wouldn’t be picked up anywayMFW 2021 #76 £5,145
