    Hi,
got it yesterday bad spelling and punctuation.
You're about to lose your licence.Oops Someting went wrong with your payment.

We're sorry to let you know that the TV License could not be
    automatically renewed.

As we couldn't take the latest payment from your ban account, this
amount will also need to be paid when you set up your new Direct Debit.

Remember,if you don't keep up with your payment,we may be forced
to cancel your license or pass your details to a debit collection agency.
To change your payment method, have a look at all your options.
So, all you need to do is make sure there's enought money in your account.
Or, if you prefer to pay the missed amount now, you can sign in online
and pay using your debit or credit card.
While you're signed in, plase make sure we have your correct bank
    details.

I might've missed some, obvious scam.

    Y'all take care now.

    They've also spelt licence incorrectly.

I went through a spate of getting these about 2 years ago, by text and by email. Obvious scam.

I don't pay for or have one so it would be an obvious scam if received. B)

On a similar theme I got a call from BT saying my bill was overdue ( we are a BT customer) On the basis that it was possible something had gone wrong , I did stay on the line whilst I checked. However soon became obvious it was scam when he started asking about bank details.
I must admit I was slightly taken in by the fact he sounded so normal. A calm, friendly young guy with a Northern accent, the sort you often get when you ring a call centre.
There was not the usual background noise/foreign accent that you get with most scam calls.

I'm not sure what you mean by "normal". I've never had any "abnormal" people on the phone trying to scam me (it would make it a bit obvious), but that's maybe just me.

Most scam calls I get are very obvious. Delay in responding when you pick the phone up - lots of chatter in the background - nearly always an Asian accent - Introduction 'How are you today'  - some issue about Amazon, Microsoft etc etc

This one sounded like a normal ( ie non scam) call.
