ok - I think that is enough now.

It may well be that the OP's bank doesn't report to the CRA in question and so there is no way of verifying the account (or checking it hasn't been flagged for some sort of misuse reason). If so it would be up to L&G to choose to put in a workaround for this scenario if it affected enough of their pension account holders.

If you tell us the bank, we can then ridicule you for choosing such a new age version, whilst we reassure ourselves that our choosing of the usual high street rip offs made sense after all.

Can a mod change the thread title to put "bank" in quotes so as not to confuse others who may read this thread in future and think L&G cannot transfer funds to real banks.

Finally, it could be Nigel Farage, trying to move enough money out of his pension to get his Coutts membership back.
How very droll, it could even be Vladimir Putin trying to escape his woes.

Maybe Farage and Putin have teamed up, forming a supergroup. That will keep the tabloids busy for a while. When the publicity dies down they should consider adding whoever is the latest controversial "influencer"...  >:)

The OP's attitude and reluctance to name the bank makes it a whole lot harder to help them. Not sure why they bothered to post. Maybe this thread should be moved to the "Rant" section.
