Hi,

I have an issue in pretty much all my windows in my flat which either...

1. 1x won't open (is 'locked' closed - tried to DIY this and failed, just broke the handle)
2. 1x Won't 'lock' closed (gust of wind will just blow it open)
3. and the remaining three windows are super stiff so I struggle to close and lock the handles.

For replacement handles to fit and supply and fix the stiff ones - £125

I don't think it is too far out. Just buying the handles from a DIY superstore e.g. B&Q type place would cost about £10-£15 per set. So for someone to come to replace and fix I think it is about right.

That said you could always try to negotiate them down.

Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A

These things are easy to do - just need a screwdriver, and if the window is locked and you can't open it, a credit card slipped down the side of the lock will do it.

I've got a new built house and in 5 years I've probably replaced all of the window locks / handles.
