Has anyone out there ever used or come across CarNation Finance….?
My daughter ( in my absence ) ‘purchased’ a car through them…..they’ve lost the log book of said vehicle and it was a nightmare last time trying to tax the car…..the company seems really suspect to me…..

Is your daughter over 18?
For many decades women have been considered competent to make financial decisions by themselves. Your daughter did not need your permission - grrr.
What do you mean by 'it was a nightmare last time'?
It is more difficult initially to tax a car if you have bought it without the green slip from the V5C. To tax it she would have had to produce evidence that the previous reg keeper has sold it on to her. However if she was eventually able to tax it the DVLC must have accepted that she in now the registered keeper.
Can you give us some more details of her current problem?
