Obviously don't blindly copy it as that's his case, but there's plenty around which to construct yours. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I don't mind saying here that I had to get used to it in 2021 when I was awaiting an urgent cataract op for a few months (OMG - I now have bionic eyes - IT IS AMAZING!!).
My cataracts were v bad & fast-growing. Family trait, early cataracts.
I could use a laptop for stuff like Steering Group Meetings but could no longer see the screen properly to read, even when adapting text size and cursor colour. Not enough in the evenings.
On a phone I could hold it closer, and turn on accessibility features that were easier on the eyes. Got used to typing long replies this way!
Typos now are always due to fat fingers and my brain working faster than my typing ability - not eyesight!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just checking - is the date correct?:-
"8. I never received the original "Parking Charge Notice," for the incident dated 17/05/2023"
A heads-up - you will see that in the above mentioned WS example refers to the BPA CoP because they are BPA AoS members - your claimant is an IPC AoS member so you should be using/quoting the relevant version of the IPC CoP. (See the first Q&A list in the first post at the start of the NEWBIES thread for clarification re logos)

I my case I don't genuinely know who was driving that day. Looking at the time and dates I would have been at a weekly event I attend.
How do I defend that in a witness statement, are vehicle owners now by default liable?0 -
Yes. Keepers are liable for charges on private land, by default. Have been for over a decade, unless the PPC failed to comply with Schedule 4 which is all explained (with a link to the legislation) in the first post of NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST.PRIVATE 'PCN'?
