5 years ago following a divorce i managed to somehow run debs and loans up to the grand total of almost £30k. This happened despite having a good job and wanting to get everything done on my house asap and trying to accommodate too many things at once.

Well its being a long time coming but as of today all that debt is gone, never again will i be so stupid with regards to spending levels.

What a relief to be able to say this and to all the people out there struggling and being unable to see the other side, all i will say is sit down and just start realising you can take charge of your finances, yes it may take time and there will be sacrifices but there is not a better feeling when that det is finally gone.

Next step is to become mortgage free as quickly as possible, and now i have freed up those loans and CC payments then there is no reason why i can't do it.
