Waiting on HSBC offer

Hi there, first time buyer here, just wondering if anyone is also waiting to hear from HSBC re their mortgage offer?
I submitted mine on 26 June via L&C. I provided payslips on the same day but have not been asked for anything else as yet. My case manager from L&C messaged me via the portal to say “ Your documents are still in the queue to be reviewed but we are still within their quoted timescales”
Anyone else waiting on a decision from them or recently been through the process to give an idea of timescales?
My solicitor rang today to say they are starting the searches. Thanks in advance.

If you mean 26th June then I also submitted 2 cases on that date and neither has been reviewed. They pulled rates that day so will have loads of applications to work through. At current service levels of 11 working days I think it will either be tomorrow or Thursday before it is reviewed1

I just started a new post. I applied for a remortgage with HSBC through a broker on 14 June and have heard nothing back officially. The broker has followed up with their contacts at the bank and was told my application was approved but they've had IT issues which prevented them from issuing the paperwork. Hopefully your application is fine but you are at the mercy of HSBC's IT! Completely frustrating, I know!1

Ah thanks for your reply. Could I ask what documents you were asked to provide to them other than your payslips?pjp93 said:I just started a new post. Of course - I had to provide bank statements and payslips from the last 3 months, two utility bills, details of any other outstanding debt (e.g. car finance and/or personal loans) and confirmation of current credit card debt.1

That’s great, I will ensure to have these at the ready! Thanks again for your replies

I would assume that the previous poster supplied that to the broker rather than to HSBC.
HSBC themselves only ask for the most recent payslip on 95% of cases when broker submitted. Occasionally they will ask for a bank statement if needed
I have heard back from 1 case submitted on 26th but not on the other yet.
Also they are currently working at 12 working days and this only starts from the date documents were uploaded, not from the date of application.I am a Mortgage Adviser

I submitted mine 30 May and got my offer 12th June, so it took a couple of weeks.
I submitted to HSBC direct and they asked for 3 months pay slips, proof of job contract, and 3 months bank statements for banks that aren't HSBC.0 -
I got my offer today! Text from HSBC followed by a phone call from L&C. I actually can’t believe it 😊0
