Daily car insurance whilst abroad for hotel courtesy car

Hi
Earlier this year we were on holiday in Greece and decided to take advantage of the hotel's free courtesy car for the day. After asking about insurance I was informed all third party costs were covered and the first 650 euros on a fault claim. I pushed the hotel reception for the finer details and what would happen if I wrote off the 50,000 euro Tesla Model 3 LR - didn't get much of a concrete answer; all I got was "we are not sure as it's never happened previously".
We are going to a different resort later this autumn (same hotel chain, same free courtesy cars) and would like to look into taking out fully comprehensive cover for the car for the day we have it. We don't know the exact date we would be borrowing the courtesy car or the exact model of the car we would get.
Does anyone know of any insurance which can be taken out before we travel which offers fully comp cover for when we do borrow the hotels car?
Thanks

You'd be better off asking in a Greek forum as UK car insurance wouldnt cover a car from Greece whilst in Greece but you may run into the challenges of not being a greek resident.
It sounds much more like the car is already insured on an any driver policy with a €650 excess and so trying to buy comprehensive insurance on it is excessive. If you could insure the €650 initial liability will depend on the nature of the agreement and if it could be deemed a hire car rather than a courtesy car.0
