Morning everyone
Nice bright sunny morning here though it's forecast to rain later. Yesterday was lovely and I had a sit outside in the sunshine for a while after work then it poured from about 6pm for the night..
A community building nearby is having a baby swap event soon so I took little one's tricycle and ball pool round. I've a few other bits I'll take round another day...the lady in charge says they've got loads already even though they only started taking donations yesterday. They have one for school uniform too later in August which I'll have a look at for little one. I have quite a bit of her uniform for September already from donations of outgrown clothes at school - the outgrown stuff comes across to nursery for the children moving up to school.
Well I'm waffling....better get some jobs done.
Hope everyone has a good day x
Snoozer good to hear you got antibiotics12 -
Morning all! Almost sunny after last nights torrential rain. Today we have a tip run, it's not much stuff but it's bulky. Oh will be helping too for a change so it should be easier. Still haven't picked up my drugs, will have to do it today though because otherwise I'll have properly run out [ down to taking only what I consider the essential ones] and I have a window payment to make so that's a trip in the car. I fancy making some kimchi today or tomorrow so will be shopping for some cabbage. I forget how much I like it. Other than that, no plans, I dug up the potatoes yesterday, they were tiny, not enough water [couldn't get through the foliage] but the seed potatoes are still going strong so I think I may keep the green bin the bamboo came in and grow them again in that for later in the year.Ruby, glad it was an easy fix for your mum. Hope she starts feeling better soon. dp1, I read your baby swap event and too it literally, I did have a laugh at people being unhappy with their babies and swapping them for different ones. Scarlet, hope you don't need new ones too! Coxy, that's nice of your dad but you should tell him he needs to be a student now to get student perks
snoozer, hope the antis work soon! Take care all, hope you're not too waterlogged! Gers, safe driving!

Hello all, I'm bringing up the rear today and it's raining again. What's the saying "it never rains but it pours", very apt for this week. This morning Mr Fix It had an arm full of bloods taken then I called in a small sm for the items I had forgotten to put on my order last week 🙄
After lunch we will be going to watch our DGD in her play production, apparently she plays 2 characters and has a quick costume change. I'll take some tissues (just in case) as it's the last one she will ever do in Juniors. She'll come home with us afterwards and have an early tea, then DD will collect her ready for the evening performance which DD, SiL and DGS will watch. I hope it goes well for everyone as they have been practising for weeks. Phew ! there's lots of to-ing and fro-ing today.
RedRuby I'm glad they have got to the bottom of DM's problem so quickly.
MeanMarie lovely to see you. I hope your DH recovers well.
dp1 hope you come home with a good baby at the swap 😂 Sorry I couldn't resist, I read it the same way as taff .
Snoozer hope the anti'b's work quickly, you seem to be going through the wringer with lots of illnesses at the moment. Hugs.
TA are you still afloat at the van ? Hope you are getting a rest anyway.
Take care all, hugs to anyone in need.

Hi everyone, late from me too Nanny. My hairdresser came at 10 to cut my hair. His next appointment was a bit later so he stayed a while chatting. I used to work with his wife at school so lots of family news to catch up on. His impending visit spurred me on with the housework so everywhere (downstairs
) is clean & tidy now.
I have to make a kind of picnic as straight after school we are going up to Morecambe with DGS and DS2 to another football match for him to play in - different team though. We have to be there for 5, which will be pushing it really.Nanny our DGD is also leaving to go to high school next term too & they are having a performance, she said she's a dogMMarie sorry your DH isn't too good, shame you couldn't have a little anniversary celebration but at least you hopefully got to see him.My oldest friend rang yesterday, we were on 1 1/2 hours. I offered to ring her back but she said she has unlimited mins on her mobile. She was telling me all about a long trip to Canada she & her DH have just gone on, sounds like they've had a great time.
Right better raid the cupboard and fridge to see what food I can rustle up for our journey. Hope everyone has a good day x
