Missing Bank Transfer

on Jun1 - I spoke with bank who were offering 0% interest for bank transfers from other credit cards.  Never done before - but I asked for two of my cards balances to be
transferred to this bank.  All agreed.  Was advised that it might take a while for these transactions to show up.  One went through fine - the other - the money has not as yet shown up.  I called the bank that was supposed to have sent the money to pay off credit card.  Initially they told me it had been sent and I should deal with credit card.
Long story short - despite Missing Bank Transfer reports being initiated by credit card company who didn't receive money.  Now they initiated Missing Funds Report.
Bank who sent money also now done Missing Bank Transfer.  Who is responsible for chasing this - anyone have experience in this please?

They'll both need to look into it, to see where the transfer fell over.

Has the BT appeared on your new card?

The sending bank is responsible for tracing the money (i.e. the bank that you transferred the balance to).

Yes the new card has the balances from both cards plus its also still on original card

That makes no sense, as only your CC provider can transfer funds (send) to your bank account. NOT any other bank take the funds from a credit card.

Surely it was a typo - see the last sentence in bold: I asked for two of my cards balances to be
transferred to this bank.
