Non glass screen protector wanted...

I have a Samsung A70 phone. I've always had plastic screen protectors. But can only find glass. This one is failing to respond to touch most of the time. Forced into using a rubber dibber pen. Has anyone discovered anything else suitable please, or should I remove the glass protector and hope i dont mark the screen.

Never known a glass screen protector to affect touch. There do seem to be quite a lot of reports of the A70 not having a very responsive screen. So that might explain it.
But plastic protectors I've found ineffective .

Actually its only this last month or so ive noticed it, yet the phone is about 5/6 yrs old.

I always buy large laptop screen protectors and cut them to size. Works as a Money Saving exercise, but if you care about your phone's image, then probably best not to lisen to me!
