PPI tax Claim

Hi,
Newbie on this site.
Newbie on this site.
I have recently been called from the Fair Trade Practice asking if I wanted to make a claim on a tax refund for a previous ppi claim made. I done this through this company 3 years ago and had a successful payout. However, this time round I feel the detail they are asking for is excessive I.e. name, address, ni no. Bank details, signature. I was also under the impression it was on a no win, no fee basis. I feel very uncomfortable providing all these details.
Any advice or insight would be appreciated.
Thanks

I’ve just had a similar call - they already had my details there. I’m wondering what the score is too.0

Aren't these the sort of companies that get you to sign up and then they get a large percentage of any tax refund you get in the future? Like the PPI claim companies I'm not sure why you can't make a claim yourself given that you need to give all the details to the company in the first place, just like you might need to do with HMRC.
