Investec 6% One Year Fixed

Hi all. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with Investec? The fixed rate saver is very attractive but I want to make sure they are legitimate. I know my deposit will be protected so I'm happy from that perspective.

    If you know your deposit is protected, what do you mean by legitimate?
    I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
    The windows are small and the walls almost bare,

    No problem at all with Investec, every bit as good as any other financial provider I've dealt with.

    I've used Investec through Raisin and HL active savings, so not held accounts directly, but there's never been a problem.

    Investec has been around for a long time, is listed on the LSE and is a member of the FTSE250.  There are lots of annual reports and the like to be found if you look.

    I've never dealt with them but their rate can be beaten:

    Best savings accounts: 4.35% easy access or 6.15% fixed rates (moneysavingexpert.com)

    I certainly put Investec in my 'good to deal with' bucket. Their system seems well set up to avoid having to call in to call centres and everything was straightforward with them.
