I am looking for a replacement laptop (17") and have come up with two potential processors - which is going to be the fastest, assuming that both have 16Gb RAM and a 1Tb SSD ?
The benchmark specs appear to be very similar.
I fancy a MSI Katana 17 B12UCXK

First question would be why are you comparing two different generations of processors. The AMD equivalent would be the 6800H which would be a similar price processor.

Of those two you list then the Intel would win out for most things.

What do you intend to use the laptop for?

Please don't say emails/surfing the web
