If you may possibly want to purchase a house in the future, have a look at LISAs (if you are under 40). You get a bonus for putting money in, and they can be used either for house purchase or retirement.

Of course, dipping into S+S before they've matured renders that pointless too, but I won't be faced with the same penalties.

S&S ISA's do not mature. You can access the money anytime you like.

Whilst I'm far to early to think of accessing Isa savings.
I did query how I could make a withdrawal from HL s+s Isa.
Is it correct Ide only have options of either closing whole account Full Amount or Drop some funds (Partial withdraw)
No need to close a S&S ISA just to withdraw some of the money. You just need to sell some of the investments to cash, so there is enough money in the cash account when you request a withdrawal.
Thanks and I believe it means giving up to Cash on a fund by fund basis.
Unless I could convert from fund Percentage.

Not really sure what you’re asking.
Say you have £200k in your S&S ISA in 3 different funds eg Fund A £100k, Fund B £75k, Fund C £25k and want to withdraw £10k cash. You could sell £10k worth from A, B, or C. Or £5k worth of A & B. Or any combination you wish. Once the fund(s) have been sold to cash you simply withdraw the cash.
