    Third option, is to put pipes up there in the void without connecting them to anything - When I had floors up a while back, I shoved some full 3m lengths of 22mm pipe under the floorboards so that they were ready & waiting for the CH system replumb. Saved a little bit of time when I finally got round to doing the work.

    It’s not that simple as the void as to be cut open and replasteted.  On the plus side, one bloke found new boilers, Valiant, that have a 15mm feed. Surprisingly the cost of installing a system and combo boiler is the same, but I agree best to do nothing. Thanks for the thoughts all.
