its a bit strange i know, but it does work. the only trouble i found is to the oven as it is a bit wobbly so i put on a try.
the smaller ones are great for jellys for the kids aswell

I agree and they last I bought mine years ago from Lakeland. Great for Yorkshire puddings and you need minimal oil. They go through the dishwasher ok and if any bits do get stuck on you can turn them almost inside out to clean.

They had some in Lidl's which I bought and have found very good. As had been pointed out they are very floppy when hot so you need a tray. Takes a bit of getting used to putting a plasticy thing in a hot oven but it does stand the temperature and cook well and turn out easily. They also had an oven mitt in the same stuff and that is good for lifting the roast out where there is a danger of getting a cloth oven glove wet with hot oil. With this on, in theory, you could put your hand in boiling oil.

Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I've made traybakes and a sponge sandwich. They didn't take as long cooking-time as for metal tins and the bottom of the cakes came out smooth and shiny which is a bit odd but you could cover with icing or sugar if you felt it a problem.

Mine are reinforced with a metal rim for stability - I didn't bother using a baking sheet and as someone has already pointed out, washing-up is a doddle as food turns out so easily. ;)
I'm really pleased with them. :D

I got some from Matalan - nothing ever sticks, but you do need to stand mine on a tray.

They sound very interesting, especially the idea of nothing ever sticking!

What sort of shapes and sizes do they have in Matalan?

I spotted them in Makro and they are the reinforced wire rim ones,I just couldn't believe they didn't make the baking smell rubbery:D

To be honest I'm not sure, but I know mine is a lasagne dish type size, and I'm sure I've seen bun sheets too.

Next time I'm there I'll have a good look for you.

    Thanks Js_other_half!

Sshh but I had a look at Matalan's home page and signed up there to be a mystery shopper so maybe I can go and buy some of this fancy cookware and get paid for doing so!

I do Demarle parties and have loads of the stuff (Demarle is a brand), I think the problem is they are quite expensive compared to tins but when you see them in action its amazing.

    I have the following

12 Hole mini muffin (I use mainly for mini yorkies)
    6 Charlotte Hole
    1 Daisy Mould
    1 Sunshine Mould
    1 Brownie Mould
3 x Silpats (Non stick baking sheets)
    1 x Small loaf mould
1 x Roulpat (for pastry work)
    1 x mini tart mould
    1 x lg flan mould
    1 x Ring mould

The list goes on, there are a couple more things I want to get and I would love to get all the knives because they are the best.
