I bagged up my 50p and £2 coins from my savings jar that I have been collecting since the last challenge ended. £20 of 50's and £60 of £2 coins. A bit of a flying start but now I have to start saving again plus I am on holiday for 3 weeks from the weekend. I plan to ebay like crazy when I get back!!

I'm off the mark. Just checked bank statement and £18.52 car insurance rebate hit my account yesterday as did the £35 mortgage fee rebate ... couldn't have timed it better if they'd tried :j :j

Just waiting on £9.09 from old account now

I was going to update as soon as I withdrew things, did the clicks or completed the shops, but I think it's probably easier on this long-term challenge just to list the amounts as they enter the bank. Shame as I've got loads pending, but might end up double counting if I do it that way!

£330 into my account today from Paypal/Ebay (been a good week! Loads also gone into my business account but not counting that).
£37.38 into account - cheque payment for Ebay sale.
-£58.58 out of account, postage for the Ebay stuff.
-£55 out of my account - free bingo deposits that I had to make to withdraw winnings.

Total so far: £253.80. Only another £3752.20 to go!!!
  • hey fellow challengers, dont forget Martin is on Channel 5 just about now!!! I nearly forgot!

  • Added another £16.90 today..... some how my sums for the CC repayment went a bit squiffy, and I had an extra £16.90 :T
Also found 105 euros in the lining of one of my coats today, so will be changing that at the PO next time I'm up there.... not sure what that equates to....
