  • Hi Gemmzie

Have been madly busy at work, but have finally got some time to post my update. I've saved £3 021.21 so far to £4 008 (platinum) so only £986.79 to go now. I'm absolutely amazed at this, just goes to show how much money is wasted through the year that I had never noticed before.

Thanx guys and well done to everyone!
Thanx Gemmzie for updating my totals, it must be challenging to keep up with everyone. Thanx for the hard work x x x

    Cheers

  • Just had another really clever idea. As I stopped smoking on the 03.03.2008 and have saved £ 423.00 so far can I add this to my total or not? Not sure if it counts. If it does it now brings my total up to £ 3444.21 with only £ 563.79 to go!

    Cheers

My old flat mate rang me yesterday that capital one had written to me (I closed down that card about three years ago) saying there was an £80 balance on it and could I ring them to arrange a refund! Was a bit suspicious really, as at the time I paid it off I didn't have a penny extra to rub together, so have no idea where this £80 has come from (they suggested an overpayment, very unlikely! or an interest adjustment?!) but obviously I'm gratefully accepting it and it'll be in my account in four days. My query is will it count for purposes of the Olympic Challenge!?
