Halifax Mortgage Documentation

We applied for our first mortgage 1 week ago and so far we have sent;

-proof of my temp contract
-1 payslip for me
-6 fortnightly payslips for my partner
-3 months bank statements for my partner
-credit card details of my partner

We have also had had credit searches and application approved by an underwriter due to my contract being temporary.

The house was valued yesterday for the price we had bid.

I am no wondering when will we find out if we have an offer?

Most importantly, will Halifax request anymore documentation? as they have not requested any of my bank statements yet and have only looked at my contract and one payslip.

Thank you

My son got a mortgage with Halifax via L&C
He got his formal offer last week after Halifax did a in person valuation 6th July
His application was quick as L&C already had all of his details from a previous mortgage offer last year so basically just need to do ID checks and stuff for partner
They started the application on the 19th June and they got the offer on the 12th
     July
    Both in stable jobs
they didn’t ask to see my sons wages slips or his partners
my sons credit rating is 990
    his partners about 700
No credit card debt or Loans

although his partner only had 2 months wage slips as a new job so they wanted proof of his contract
my son is putting down around 80k as a deposit and they are FTB
