The 4% figure includes a bonus of 0.34% - so some existing customers may need to renew their bonus to get the full 4%.2

Ford Money is now at 4.25% whereas Marcus has just increased to 4.00%.Fatherjacob said:wish Marcus would have made an announcement ,ive jut moved my savings from Marcus to Fordmoney , now seeing this i probably wouldnt have bothered
Many people here would move for far less than an extra 0.25%.0 -
Lots of people will happily take Marcus at 4% over others at 4.3%. Not top rate chasers obviously, but they have built a reputation as being reliable, trustworthy and easy to use, which probably brings in enough for them to not need to be the top payers anymore. Many value their reliability for the sake of a quarter of a percent on a few thousand pounds of savings. Zopa in a similar situation now as well I think.6
