Doctors write a sick note for patients who are too unwell to work. What else would a sick note be for?

Possibly, but this board is about helping people with their entitlement, not debating welfare policies.

Someone with a sicknote is unfit to be working for the period covered by the note. Therefore the OP is currently unfit for work.

I like the medical diagnosis via message board though. Perhaps the NHS needs to consider it?
