Hello,
My daughter has used go compare yesterday to get insurance via admiral on her first car. She has got the policy to start on the 13th July.
My question is how quickly does Go compare send out the free excess insurance policy as at the moment she has not received anything else from go compare yet. (She has had insurance policy from admiral)
Do they send it out nearer the policy start date?
Kind regards
James

I think I may have found the answer to my own question buried in the faq.
'It’s simple. Just compare and buy car insurance with us, and we’ll do the rest. We’ll email your policy documents between five and eight weeks after you bought car insurance with us. If it’s been more than nine weeks, let us know.'
Had everyone else successfully received theirs?0 -
Someone else elsewhere has complained about the fact it doesn't cover the excess in a non-fault accident (because its recoverable from the third party) so clearly they did0

Yes that is correct I believe. It only covers you if you are at fault and have to claim through your own insurance.0
