Transferring from Vanguard stocks and shares ISA to Halifax cash ISA

As per subject above

I was given a form by Halifax and told to send it to Vanguard but Vanguard seem to be waiting for a request from Halifax and say:

We can receive transfer requests via the following methods:

- Origo, the electronic transfer system used by providers

- Post to: Vanguard, PO Box 24095,1 Tanfield, Edinburgh, EH3 1FS

- Email to: VanguardTransfers@fnz.co.uk

I'm puzzled!

Halifax need to handle the transfer. You just need to open an account and fill in necessary transfer forms.

Well yes I've done that but Halifax told me to post it to Vanguard

Halifax should take care of it. If posting your form to Vanguard did not work, get a clear statement from Vanguard on what they need from Halifax. Use that to chase Halifax.
