Opened this account on Wednesday 5th, application process pretty straightforward, not ask for further proof of I.D!
Transferred £100 after receiving email confirmation, which as of this morning is now showing in the account.
Now waiting for another verification code, having just recieved the NBS code this morning!
However unlike with the NBS account the FBS site states codes for new customers are sent by email, not by post!
Would be nice if FBS offered an app, the website is pretty basic, accessing the account on your phone creates menues overlapping on to text, also seems messages boxes are only half displayed.
Might be better experiance on laptops/tablets!

I think there's a bit of a backlog with the NBS accounts!
Not tryed any of the accounts on a laptop, but I find using the NBS app on my phone is miles better than having to log in to the full fat FBS site!
The NBS app is still pretty basic, but with Face ID set up your viewing the account in seconds!
Lets face it, we know by this time next week, there will be a new 4.36% account available to tempt us!

I applied for an FBS easy access online savings account on 4 July. Received the verification code, then confirmation that the account had been set up on 5 July. So far, the term 'easy access' is far from accurate!
Apart from the fact that their online systems are clunky, 16 days later I haven't managed to transfer any money into the account.
I made a small initial transfer of £10. It left my current account but never reached the FBS account. FBS said they couldn't verify my current account and asked me to upload a PDF statement. In the meantime they returned the £10 to my current account. I uploaded the PDF, they confirmed verification. I again tried to transfer £10 on 13 July. No sign of it in my savings account by close of play on 14 July. On 17 July it was returned to my current account.
I tried to pay money into the savings account using a debit card - not possible.
I've messaged FBS, they take days to respond. Today I logged in and my account isn't even visible - it looks as though they've closed it, but I've had no comms from them! I'm far from impressed, will probably give up and find an easy access account with another provider.
