Solar panel batteries

I'm considering having battery storage added to existing solar panels and wondered if you have any recommendations or experience in this as I am finding it hard to get any reliable information without the hard sell from companies.

I have two GivEnergy batteries totalling 10.8 kWh.  They have helped save a considerable amount of money over the last 2 years.

Being able to fill them up in winter using Octopus Go really makes them worthwhile.

When were your solar panels installed as it's not quite so simple if you get the old FIT (pre 2019) payments rather than SEG

They were all fitted in 2021.
