Solar panel batteries

I'm considering having battery storage added to existing solar panels and wondered if you have any recommendations or experience in this as I am finding it hard to get any reliable information without the hard sell from companies.

I have two GivEnergy batteries totalling 10.8 kWh. They have helped save a considerable amount of money over the last 2 years.
Being able to fill them up in winter using Octopus Go really makes them worthwhile.0 -
When were your solar panels installed as it's not quite so simple if you get the old FIT (pre 2019) payments rather than SEGBarnsley, South Yorkshire
