Hi all.
Need to record a live-streamed ceremony on my PC. What's the best and easiest method, please?
XBox games bar?
Video quality is important - HD required - and also sound.
Many thanks.

OBS Studio would have done the job...

debitcardmayhem said:The Xbox GameBar should be included with Win 11. With my other Win10 PC, I had to first download it from the MS Shop - free, and took only seconds. Both worked the same.'Win' key + G brings it up. A small horizontal menu should appear at the top of the screen, the LH icon being 'Widget'. Make sure 'audio' and 'capture' are selected. Then is should be simply a case of maximise your viewing screen, and click on the third icon - 'capture', and press 'record' on the next menu bar.You may also need to do stuff like select "always record behind screen" - it was something like that, but I can't remember. But have a play :-)1

Yeah I think the clue's in the name - VLC Player. It'd work but its not really designed for screen recording.

Bit late now, but you have to pull up the volume mixer and mute the system sounds unless you like random bingly bongs in the soundtrack.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

Thanks. It worked fine, thankfully - no unwanted noisesfacade said:Bit late now, but you have to pull up the volume mixer and mute the system sounds unless you like random bingly bongs in the soundtrack.
