Morning everyone I’m a bit late today one of my cleaning jobs has gone away for a couple of weeks but they have still asked me to clean one of the jobs to clean the oven out she is getting a decorator to start Monday to do the hall and stairs she said her granddaughter was coming to stay while he did it so I thought I would go up early today and start her granddaughter is obviously there already she had left the key in the door so I couldn’t get in when I looked in the patio doors at the back the house was an absolute tip stuff all over food crushed into the wooden floors I knocked and knocked and couldn’t get her up out of bed so I have walked away and left it I have been paid but it’s not my fault and I can’t go later as I’m at work at 12 I will text her and tell her to get in touch with her granddaughter for me to go next week. TA enjoy your afternoon tea Camelot you have done so well with all that painting I’m not sure I could have faced it scarlet pleased you are feeling a bit better today . I need to go and get hubby’s prescription and I will have a bit of a dust and hoover clean the kitchen floor I may as well be doing my work then I am going to have a sit down and a cuppa. Morning everyone
Bit dull this morning - hopefully the sun will pop out later. Yesterday afternoon was lovely and sunny - I sat out and read for a bit after work.
I need to go along to Asda for some bits this morning and to post a parcel - I'll walk along then bus back home. Then work at lunchtime - sports day has been re-scheduled for this afternoon so we'll take our children out for the last race - they'll get an ice lolly as a reward.
Lovely news Jackie - I love her name.
Hope everyone has a good day x11 -
The new cleaner has cancelled on me again so I've told her not to bother. I shall draw up a rota for the tasks she would have done, I'm not doing them all myself8

Hello all, I wasn't on here yesterday as I didn't feel well. I hadn't slept the night before as I was coughing, sneezing, shivering and had a runny nose, so spent yesterday either in bed or cwtched up on the sofa. Mr Fix It then had the same symptoms later in the day, copycat !
We feel a bit better this morning and we were getting everything to the front of the house ready for a tip trip when the scrappy man passed. He asked if he could have some of the things and then he took half of it (mostly the big stuff 👏) so he saved us making 2 trips, plus he was very polite. We need to break down the old fence panels then hopefully we can get to the tip again, it was quite empty of cars too so it must be a good time to go.
I wanted to mow the lawns today but we've already had a heavy shower so that's not going to happen. I'll do an online shop later as I can't face going in a sm right now, anyway I'm still coughing and sneezing which would not be good in a shop 🤧
London 1 Jackie welcome to the world to your lovely Daisy ! Hope Mum and baby are doing well.
Take care all, hugs to the poorly ones.

JackieO xxI’ve been reading the Peculiar Crimes Unit books by Christopher Fowler and you always flit through my mind. They are set in London, mostly central, and are full of very interesting info about historical places and people - apart from the crimes. If you haven’t read any I’d really recommend them. Now I’m in my hotel. Exorbitant price as Motley Cru and Def Leopard are playing at Glasgow Green tonight. Bad planning which will cost my dear nephew a large glass of reviving ‘medicine’ later. 😀6 -
I will check them out on my library ordering service as I can order from the local one and they email you to let you know when its ready for collection
