I phoned the p.c. people today to check progress with my claim.Yes, you have an award said the lady,its £XXX pounds a week.That is almost 9 times what I was expecting!! example,expecting £15 and getting £130 so I said there must be a miscalculation,after alot of discussion she told me she would put in for a Mandatory Reconsideration,with no estimation of the waiting time.This to me seems a bit drastic and frustrating that I couldnt be connected to a case manager or decision maker to correct what must be a glaring miscalculation.Any thoughts out there ?

    Do you have a partner, what is your current state pension amount and what, if any, other benefits are you in receipt of?

    To add to the above, are you receiving any other pensions? If so how much? We need to know some figures because otherwise it's impossible to advise.

    PC plus two SDP = £201.05 plus £76.40 = £277.45
    Minus SP £203.85,
    PC = £73.60

    I would have waited for your written award decision before querying the amount, the person you spoke to may have given the wrong information.

    Severe Disability Premium (the two was a typo on my part, I had misread your post, please read my edited post).

    You said you expected £15, you said that they said £130 and I now calculate £73.60.
    Please let us know how you get on.

    Sorry,those figures were examples of the size of the difference,not the actual figures.

    Are you certain that you are getting £203.85 for SP.?
    Does my calculation match either the actual PC figures, either your calculation or DWP?
