Hi all,
I recently closed my Tesco Mastercard as I was not really getting anything back in terms of return on spends. Would you be able to recommend any cards with decent cashback or something similar?
I've done my research online and looked at the article on here too. American Express seems to be the best one but realistically, I'm never going to be spending that much money to make it worth while. At most, I would be spending about £500 a month unless I'm buying a white good but that's not going to be often. I did the online eligibility check and was 99% accepted rate for all of them.
I'm working about 30 hours a week, don't have any dependents and have always paid all my phone bills and credit cards in full - well I did max out an overdraft when I was 19 but that was a few decades ago.
If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks for your help,

Amex is good at 0.75%. If you don't need section 75 then debit card cashback of 1% is good at Chase.1
