This time of year an inside swimming pool is essential there. eg although Mirage has two pools, and they are slightly heated, one was being drained last month, and both were outside. Even if well heated, any wet skin out of the pool makes it freeeeezing.

Have u tried fatwallet for hotel bargains? Most hotels have their own website or part of a group of hotels eg harrahs, mgm.

I have stayed off the strip near the convention centre in the Amerisuites, a block or two away from the main strip - there is a shuttle if needed. Great free hot breakfast and large suite type rooms i.e. small kitchen. It is intented for business people, so may have availability next week.

Have a look at their website for more details

Weather will be cold..poss freezing at night, very few hotels keep their pools open this time of year.

Tropicana has an indoor pool (I think)

BUT if you are looking for somewhere warm and to keep the kids amused then Vegas isnt really the place this time of year

Think you will struggle on that budget as next week is one of the busiest and most expensive times of the year in Vegas.

have you tried ringing any direct http://www.cheapovegas.com/index.php a good site if a little outdated but will give you all telephone numbers and websites of hotels

also look at funway holidays as they do accomodation only and hold block bookings with all the major hotels
