How can I complain to British Gas?
I have been trying to get my £182 refund from British Gas since 29 March. I have sent them meter readings and done everything correctly, called them 7 times and am no further forward.
The refund relates to a rental property of which I am the landlord - new tenants moved in on 29 March and I am owed the credit that was on the meter at that time.
I have been told over and over again that a refund is on the way - every single time I have called.
I have asked to make a complaint and was told I couldn't make a complaint on a closed account!!
Any advise on how to escalate this please?
