My 19 year old son, who has a bank acct with a wage going in weekly, is on the electoral list, has dd's going out, is unable to get any credit & Experian is unable to locate him. What can we do?

Check to see if he appears on the other CRAs.
Experian may just need a nudge to pull his data together.0 -
Does he have any form of credit at the moment (a mobile phone contract, for instance)? A lack of credit history can make it tricky to get started, since a lender has no historical data to go on. The usual advice is to apply for a credit-builder card, use it for everyday purchases and always pay in full every month. Over time, this will start to build up a favourable credit history, after which he should have more success in applying for more mainstream credit cards or other form of credit. What sort of credit is he applying for, and for what reason? As well as a decent credit history there are a multitude of other factors that are taken into account, not least of which is affordability - i.e. the amount of credit requested compared to your income and any existing debt. But yes, as Morningcoffee says, check all 3 CRAs.0
