Credit Rating and Credit Card Question

in Credit cards
I have balances on my Barclaycard and my Virgin card all at 0%. I have just moved into my flat and changed my banking address. Both cards promotional rate end on December/January 2007. My remortgage comes up around that time too. I intend to make overpayments to both but put the overpayment money into an ISA at the moment to accumulate interest.
My main question is when is the best time to speak to Barclaycard and Virgin to see if they will extend the 0% period? I can pay the Barclaycard off within a year and some of the virgin card too if I need to.
I have registered to vote at my current address. Is there anything else I should do to improve my credit rating. I was previously 998/1000 at my parents home but not sure if that'll change with my new address.
Sorry for all the questions. Any help is greatly appreciated :A

Hello!
Dont think you will have much trouble getting a new 0% card or an extension. Your rating was high before you moved so cant see it dropping that much.
Iv got to change addresses too in the near future. Let me know how things go credit rating wise.0
