Home building insurance - storm coverage?

Getting quotes for a building insurance based on https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insurance/home-insurance/ article and was close to paying for one with Policy Expert (Silver) but noticed that it doesn't cover roof damage by a storm despite the article saying otherwise...

What is home insurance?
Home insurance protects you if something drastic happened to your home, such as a blaze, burglary or storm damage.

What does home insurance cover?
It can differ from policy to policy, so always check yours carefully, but generally home insurance will cover:

Repairs from damage. For example, from escaping water (such as a burst pipe), falling trees, fire, flooding, storms (including 'acts of god' such as earthquakes and lightning), subsidence (a shifting of the ground which can cause your home to sink) and vandalism.

Most of the insurance quotes do not include this even if you add "Home Emergency Cover" option. The cheapest and only one I could find that does provide this cover is with Admiral Platinum.

For peace of mind, should I go with one that does cover storm damage or would a standard building insurance suffice? We are buying our first 1940 semi house in Zone 5 south from London if this helps.

Can you explain why you think it doesn't cover storm damage? I've had a look at the policy and it seems fine to me.

    "Section 1 - Buildings Cover

    3. Storm
We will cover loss or damage caused by storm"

I clicked on "More details" on CompareTheMarket for each policy - in the case of Policy Expert Silver, I got this (see highlighted bullet point):

Sorry if this is silly question as this is my first building insurance. :)

Thats the Home Emergency section that doesnt cover it... it is however covered by the Building's section

Home Emergency doesnt count as a claim, often doesnt have an excess etc. Hence they want to ensure it goes via Buildings rather than HE otherwise you'd have a choice of claiming under one section or the other.

What is covered by Home Emergency can be extremely limited, as I discovered during a storm when a neighbour's roof tile came through the roof of my conservatory.  I tried the insurers main number (only manned during office hours) then the Home Emergency, only to be told that the HE cover was only for electrical and plumbing emergencies.  As it was the first time I'd had any sort of claim on buildings insurance I was shocked to discover that there were no emergency contact numbers for other problems.
